Josh Michael

Junior Designer

My interest in web started back in high school upon seeing our IT tutor give a demo about how to create rollover buttons in Adobe Fireworks. It was then when I said to myself “I don't know what that is, but thats what I want to do”.

It wasn't until I decided to go to the University of Huddersfield to study Interactive Multimedia, that my real passion for design started to grow.

During my time at University, not only did I develop skills and knowledge in areas such as Web Design, Development, UI and UX but I was also fortunate enough to meet Prince Andrew, The Duke of York while working for one of his trusts called IDEA. At University, I also completed a year long placement at an E-commerce and Digital Marketing Agency working as a digital design intern.

I aspire to create designs and user experiences that enrich people, with my focus primarily on digital design. Though I am predominately a designer, I also enjoy developing websites, as this allow me to be both creative and technical. Away from designing interfaces, I enjoy playing my guitar and telling my cat how pretty she is.
